Dr. Kirstin

“After being in a car accident in high school, I saw a chiropractor a few times, but never really understood what he was doing, nor did it help long term. By college I was having weekly headaches, numbness in my leg, allergies, bad PMS symptoms, and had no idea how to eat well. My sister recommended I go to her chiropractor who opened my eyes to all the capabilities of chiropractic in conjunction with nutrition, and I knew that I wanted to do that! But, I felt the most healing in my body after working for a chiropractor who adjusted me regularly, walked me through good nutrition, and healthy ways to exercise. Since then, I've stopped taking Zyrtec, no more midol, I'm 30lbs lighter than I was in college (even after 3 kids), and headaches are now a rare occurrence in my life!"

Dr. Kirstin (or Dr. K as the littles call her) is an Elk Point native, born and raised. After high school she decided to attend SDSU studying Nutritional Sciences until transferring to Northwestern Health Sciences University where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She knew she wanted to change people's lives with chiropractic care after her own experience.

Dr. K has become certified in a neurologically based technique called Torque Release Technique (TRT). Along with her extra nutritional and detoxing training, Dr. K is excited to bring whole health and wellness to Elk Point and surrounding areas.

Ashley - Office Manager

I first met Dr. K and was introduced to chiropractic care when I began taking my daughter to her a few years ago upon the recommendation of a friend. My daughter at the time was 5 and was unable to stay dry throughout the night. On top of this, her legs bowed inward slightly making her appear "pigeon toed." Dr. K visually showed us the areas that were creating interference and explained what she could do to help.  Within a short amount of time, her incontinence issues had "dried" up and her gait had vastly improved. When I began receiving adjustments, my foot pain that originated from running had subsided, and my stride and form were now able to reach full potential. I'm proud to say, I'm now recording my fastest times while training for my half marathons!
