Adrenal fatigue is when your adrenal glands (located on your kidneys) become worn out. While you’re sleeping less, giving more, and looking for yet another missing sock, your adrenals are trying to keep your cortisol (stress) hormone at bay while managing your ever changing estrogen levels and so many more things.
